Aitor Uribarri is a multifaceted cinematographer with over ten years of experience in the film industry, demonstrating versatility in various roles such as camera operator, gaffer, and editor.
With a solid foundation in both analog and digital cinematography, Aitor Uribarri masters a wide range of camera systems, including 35 mm and 16 mm film formats, RED, ARRI, Blackmagic, Canon, and Sony cameras, as well as all DSLR models.
His skills extend to on-set lighting, offering a director’s perspective and showcasing outstanding communication abilities, which, along with his capacity to make quick and decisive choices, mark him as a distinguished professional in his field.
Uribarri’s technical expertise is complemented by his experience with multiple software tools, including Final Cut 7 and X, Adobe Premiere Pro, Blackmagic Davinci Resolve, Adobe Photoshop, and After Effects.
His career has spanned more than 16 years, during which he has contributed to commercials, short films, documentaries, corporate videos, and music videos, demonstrating his ability to deliver high-quality images even with tight budgets.
As a gaffer, he has worked on feature films such as “You’re Killing Me” and “Witchy Ways,” along with several music videos and commercials, showcasing his expertise in specialized lighting and equipment handling since November 2021 in Los Angeles, California.
His role as a camera operator was highlighted in the film “Outlaws,” directed by Mario Van Peebles, featuring stars like Whoopi Goldberg, Edward James Olmos, and John Carroll Lynch, filmed in Livingston, Montana.
Between October 2017 and October 2021, Uribarri worked as a camera operator at Radiotelevisión Española in Madrid, where he participated in live broadcasts, sporting events, concerts, and shows such as Masterchef, further diversifying his industry experience.
Additionally, he served as Director of Photography for the second unit of the third season of the series “Irabazi Arte” for PAUSOKA ENTERTAINMENT SL in Gipuzkoa, Basque Country, Spain, in 2023.
